I’m finally starting to get the best of covid an

I’m finally starting to get the best of covid and having enough energy to paint a whole painting in one day. 🤩 This was an interesting experiment that started as a sketch in Procreate, where I planned the composition and the colours. I used an unusual colour palette for me, but that’s what I’ve been doing lately. A lot of colour palette sampling and getting comfortable with colours that I don’t usually use. I also ended up mixing quite a few colours for this one, which I enjoyed tremendously. I had forgotten how much fun colour mixing is. I think that the reason I do so little of it, with my Holbeins, is that I’m so worried of wasting paint and also because Holbein has so many beautiful colours straight out of the tube. Oh what fun! 🤩 I watched @oddorange.stationery ’s Vintage Stamp Drawing Session and drew these cuties. The idea was to do them in really short amount of time (4-6mins), but I cheated. 🤭 I paused the recording and took a bit more time. 😁 I really enjoyed drawing these, though. So, thank you, Morgan.
